Hello, I’m Pernesia Nellum, founder of Elevate FSQA Consulting & Training.
I’m a Food Safety & Quality Assurance leader with over 20 years of experience helping food manufacturers strengthen compliance, improve operational systems, and build sustainable food safety cultures across USDA- and FDA-regulated facilities.
Throughout my career with organizations such as OSI Group, Land O’ Frost, PacMoore Products, and Superior Nut & Candy, I have led FSQA programs that drive audit excellence, operational consistency, and continuous improvement.
Today, through Elevate FSQA, I partner with food manufacturers and quality teams to build stronger systems, safer products, and empowered FSQA cultures that support long-term success.
My Story
Food safety and quality assurance have shaped my career for more than two decades. Throughout my time in the food manufacturing industry, I’ve had the opportunity to lead and develop FSQA programs across USDA- and FDA-regulated facilities, focusing on building systems that support both regulatory compliance and operational performance.
Over the years, I realized that many organizations don’t struggle with food safety because of a lack of commitment — they struggle because they lack the systems, training, and leadership alignment needed to sustain it.
That insight led me to establish Elevate FSQA Consulting & Training LLC.
Through Elevate FSQA, I partner with food manufacturers and quality teams to strengthen food safety systems, improve audit readiness, and build confident FSQA teams. My goal is to help organizations move beyond basic compliance and develop programs that support long-term operational success.
I believe that true food safety excellence starts with people and is sustained through process, precision, and purpose.
